The house is so wonderful. The Jacuzzi, the sauna and the pool is amazing. Also everything else is very lovely and made with detail, it's such a magical house where you can relax and enjoy life. Thanks for this beautiful home we enjoyed it very much. This place is like a pearl in the ocean, just a wonderful place.

Das umgebaute Bauernhaus im Hinterland ist sehr gut geeignet für einen entspannten Urlaub in schöner hügeliger Umgebung. Interessante Wanderungen direkt vom Haus und Ausflüge an die Küste bieten sich an. Wir haben die Zeit in diesem liebevoll umgebauten Bauernhaus genossen - Marrion die Kontaktperson vor Ort war immer erreichbar und sehr freundlich. Danke für die schöne Location

Een super goede vakantie gehad daar. De woning heeft echt alles wat je nodig hebt en nog veel meer zoals zwembad, jacuzzi en sauna! Deze dingen zijn echt een meerwaarde. ook is alles aanwezig in de keuken om zelf te koken en te baken indien je dit wenst. Je bent ook dicht bij Silves, mooi stadje met vele restaurantjes en een mooie burcht op de top van de heuvel. Ook de vele stranden van de Algarve zijn binnen het half uur bereikbaar met de wagen. De kust is druk dus deze plaats is ideaal om naar terug te keren om alzo de rust terug te vinden. Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar met het ganse gezin. Er is plaats voor 6 mensen. Enkel één vraag, zou je er met 8 personen kunnen verblijven? bedankt voor het mooie aanbod.

My husband and I spent a month here in June. It's a lovely peaceful space away from the tourist areas to unwind and relax. The pool and hot tub were well used by us and there was always a shady area during the day when the temperatures hit 39c. It's a 10 minute drive to a supermarket and just half an hour to Albufeira for beach days. It's very much a Portuguese home and we felt really comfortable as soon as we arrived. Everything we could need was supplied. There's no aircon but we had numerous fans to use at night which worked just as well and it was only an issue on the few really hot nights, the traditional thick white walls keep the place surprisingly cool. We would happily return and highly recommend this property if you're after your own little oasis of tranquility.

What a great stay we had here - it felt like being home immediately. The house was well equipped in general and the items in the kitchen were available more then needed. All of us enjoyed the swimming pool, sauna and hot-tub being there all for us just alone. The apartment is located in a very quiet street with the beaches at a driving distance of approx. 30 minutes. Note that we did not find any bakeries etc. in the neighborhood but if you want to fully relax down this is a recommended stay.

Absolutely marvelous stay!! Paradise...an oasis of peace and beauty...it was even better than I expected, the kitchen is completely equipped for serious cooking ;) (a nice change from most airbnbs...), the pool, sauna and jacuzzi are amazing, our host so friendly and helpful...we fell in love and recommend it 100%!! Tack för en fantastisk vistelse i ditt hus! Vi njöt av tystnaden och lugnet, lyssnade på syrsorna, badade i jacuzzin. Poolen var för kall så här års, så det var härligt att bada i jacuzzin på kvällarna istället. Marrion är toppen och kan lätt kontaktas om frågor dyker upp. Hon gav tips på vandring och vi hittade vandringsleder, sök på "Via Algarviana". Uteplatsen och grillen var allt för vår vistelse! Juicepressen var en fin detalj, stanna utefter vägarna och köp apelsiner!

Great start to our holiday , enjoyable week spent relaxing at the pool side or taking a swim to cool off . very well equipped house with everythingthing you need , comfy bed good shower in en-suite . A slice of pardise. a truely unique and delightful stay at the accomdation. loved the pool, great for cooling off. lots of space, in the accomdation. We had a lovely time in Thomas’ house, wellness and garden. He responded quickly via Airbnb app. Marrion showed us the house and garden. One evening the electricity went out and Marrion helped us quickly getting it back on again! The stargazing from the hottub and swimming pool is amazing. Quiet nights, although sometimes I woke up from a barking dog. The house, garden and wellness are clean and the kitchen is very well equipped which made cooking easy. The surroundings are beautiful and there is loads to do.

Perfekte Wohlfühloase, um in Ruhe die Seele baumeln zu lassen. Für uns war der Aufenthalt perfekt! Das alte Farmhaus ist mit viel Liebe eingerichtet und es fehlt einem dank Grill, Pool, Whirlpool und Sauna an nichts! Top ist auch die Lage, in Silves ist man in 15 Minuten. Zu den näheren Stränden braucht man ca. 30 Minuten. Allein die Fahrt durch die Orangenplantagen dorthin ist super schön. Die Kommunikation zu Thomas und Marrion war immer super schnell & sehr nett! Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

We had a great holiday at Casa Sorriso. Thomas responded quickly to any questions we had and the nearby town of Silves is really a gem (even during a pandemic). Unfortunately it was too cold to make proper use of the pool, but the jacuzzi saved the day for sure :).

We stayed at Casa Sorriso during 6 days in September 2020: it was a very pleasant and relaxing stay, as this traditional Portuguese countryside house is very nicely decorated and offers all you might desire to chill out at home, without going out: a private pool, an extraordinary jacuzzi, where you can gaze at the stars while you unwind from your days’ activities; and a very traditional Scandinavian sauna. Good beds, nice living room and separate dining room, a terrasse for al fresco dining What else could you ask for? 😎 Just a last word to thank Thomas, for his swift replies every time we had a question; and Marrion, who was our local contact during our stay: very good communication, it was a real pleasure. Nous avons passé un agréable séjour. Magnifique maison décorée avec goût, très bien équipée, jardin superbe, piscine et jacuzzi au top! Endroit calme, en pleine nature, vue splendide. Nous ne voulions pas repartir ! Chaque chambre a sa salle de bain ce qui est un plus. Nous avons été bien accueillis par Marrion, il a été facile de communiquer avec elle. Notre seule remarque est la cuisine qui n'était pas très propre à notre arrivée. Véhicule indispensable. Endroit bien situé pour visiter les alentours de l'Algarve. Plages de Marinha et de Benagil magnifiques à ne surtout pas manquer. Belle adresse que nous conseillons fortement.

Everything a person needs and more is available in the house. Everything is perfectly maintained and clean. The terrace, pool and jacuzzi are fantastic and we and the children enjoyed it very much.

A casa sorriso é ideal para quem tem crianças, pois disponibiliza de todos os utensílios necessários para crianças/bebé. No meu caso utilizei o berço. A piscina é de água salgada o que também é óptimo para as crianças. A cozinha está toda equipada. A casa de banho dispõem de gel de banho, shampoo e toalhas. E o espaço exterior é grande e agradável. A casa está situada no sítio calmo, optimo para descansar e aproveitar Algarve diferente.

We’ve stayed in a few villas in the area and this one is outstanding. The fantastic amenities mean you wouldn’t have to venture out very often but just relax. It’s very clean and comfortable, all kitchen appliances you would ever need and so very quite. The upper floor is a self contained studio flat with a fantastic view down the valley, the sunsets were ideal for an evening dinner. We managed to swim in the beautiful pool thanks to the winter sun but if that’s too cold the hot tub and sauna will warm you up. Cannot recommend highly enough. Thanks Thomas and Sarah

WOW this villa is beautiful we had awful weather so we had the most wonderful cosy time with the log fire going and cooking, the kitchen has everything well equipped and stocked with so much, fresh oranges from the tree were delicious, the beds are so comfortable and big, it was so relaxing using the hot tub, way to cold to use the pool but it looked beautiful lit up at night, Sarah was outstanding, what a lovely lovely person, responded to everything straight away and even bought us more logs and gas and pastries as the weather was bad. We couldn't fault anything we will return to enjoy it in the summer for sure thank you

Eine sehr schöne und luxuriöse Unterkunft, super zum ausspannen geeignet. Auch perfekt mit Kindern. Alles notwendige war ausreichend vor Ort vorhanden. Auch die Ansprechpartnerin vor Ort ist sehr nett und aufmerksam, hat uns Tipps gegeben und war bei Fragen und Problemen immer sofort ansprechbar. Wir waren zwei Familien mit zwei kleinen Kindern und Haben es sehr genossen. Man konnte in dem Haus super gemeinsam Zeit verbringen, es war aber auch genug Platz um sich zurückzuziehen. Jedes Schlafzimmer hat ein eigenes Bad mit Toilette und Dusche, was sehr angenehm ist. Im oberen Stock gibt es an dem Schlafzimmer sogar noch eine kleine Küche und eine Terrasse. Wir hatten auf jeden fall das Gefühl dass dafür gesorgt wurde dass man sich wohl fühlt. Ein toller Aufenthalt!

This villa is gorgeous! Thank you so much for having us as guests! Both Thomas and Sarah had excellent communication. Wine and cake was waiting on our arrival and Sarah sent the odd message throughout our stay to make sure everything was ok, which was really thoughtful. The villa is so relaxing, in the middle of the countryside and the hot tub really gave an extra touch to the holiday. A car is definitely needed as local amenities and activities/beaches are a bit of a drive away but this made the location of the villa very peaceful during our stay.

Amazing house with the best views. Super nice pool and hot tub where you can watch the stars at night. Everything for the baby was available. This home offered everything and more. The teenagers didn’t want to leave the house! Which was extraordinary for us. The views, atmosphere, house, jacuzzi, swimming pool and endless supply of lemons for our gin and tonics were heaven. We would recommend this house for families, girlie week ends ( all bedrooms have en-suites) AND the beds are all so comfortable. Our host was fantastic and Sarah who runs the house was warm and welcoming and was within easy reach and responded in record time. I could go on and on..... to say this was a very relaxing time spent with my family. The town of Silves is gorrrgeous in a medieval way which made it all the more interesting and beautiful. Casa Sorriso was a perfect house for a very relaxing holiday in Algarve. The house has everything you could ask for in the serenity of the countryside. The pool is awesome, not to mention the jacuzzi which is perfect for star gazing. There are several very nice restaurants nearby: Restaurant Rainha, Casa de Vinha, Cafe bar Silva etc. All in all a perfect holiday!

We had good fun in this house! The peaceful surroundings were just what we needed on this leg of our trip. We spent hours in the hot tub watching the stars, and lounging by the pool. And because we're foodies, we especially loved the fully equipped kitchen and the outdoor cooking grill. We had some wonderful meals around this table. To be able to pick fresh oranges, lemons and herbs for our dishes was an extra special treat. The house was also a good jumping off point for exploring the many nearby towns.

Just returned from a magical week staying at the villa/farmhouse - Highly recommend!!! The photos and description of the house don’t do it justice - it is such a beautiful & special place! We cherished having such a cosy and comfortable space to unwind and great base to explore the area. The pool and jacuzzi as well as beautiful views are added bonuses. We also loved the location - we felt secluded and away-from-it-all yet also so close to some incredible places. It was our first time in Algarve and we quickly realised how ideally situated the house is to get to ridiculously beautiful beaches as well as the market and restaurants of Silves. We arrived very late at night - too late to pick up food - but the fridge was stocked with milk, butter + cheese, there was bread, wine and fresh oranges - even pastel de natas!! So welcoming after our long trip. The villa is very authentic to its farmhouse origins and extremely homely and comfortable, yet thoughtfully with every convenience you could think of. We struggled to leave to go out on day trips anywhere as the swimming pool and jacuzzi and whole garden area were so perfect for a relaxing holiday. Every day we had fresh lemons from the beautiful tree and took great delight in the stunning and well kept plants and flowers. A lot of thought has gone into making this home so inviting. Very much appreciated. We would love to come back again.

The house is amazing. Has everything you need and in a beautiful, quiet location. Only about 10 minute drive to Silves which has everything you need (shopping, restaurants, sightseeing). Beaches are about 20-30 minutes away. It is the perfect spot to explore the Algarve.

Net terug na een geweldige week in de Algarve in het huis van Thomas. We vonden het huis fantastisch en raden het iedereen van harte aan. Het huis zelf heeft alles wat je nodig hebt om te genieten van een heerlijke ontspannen vakantie...zwembad, jacuzzi (waar vind je dat?), heel fijne tuin met twee terrassen waar je altijd in de zon kan zitten (of schaduw als je dat liever hebt) en uitkijkt op de bergen. In de tuin een citroenboom en sinaasappelboom. Het huis zelf is ook erg fijn en van alle voorzieningen voorzien. De keuken is erg uitgebreid met een oven, magnetron, vriezer, tosti ijzer, broodrooster, waterkoker, koffiezetapparaat. Thomas is erg gastvrij en antwoord heel snel op al je vragen en geeft uitgebreide informatie over het huis en de aankomst. Sarah, de housekeeper, haalt je op en leidt je naar het huis. Wat wij ook heel fijn vonden was de open haard en de fijne warme douche. Je mag gebruik maken van alle extra's zoals badhanddoeken, parasol, koelbox. Erg fijn als je een dagje naar het strand gaat. Het huis ligt ook op een fijne centrale plek. Vlakbij het mooie dorp Silves met zijn vele ooievaars en leuke cafeetjes en winkeltjes. Een aanrader vonden wij cafe Ingles waar ze op vrijdag- en zaterdagavond en zondagmiddag live muziek hebben. Vlakbij het huis, aan het einde van de straat richting Silves is restaurant Rainha ook een aanrader om een keer te gaan eten. Het strand is op een klein half uur rijden en je hebt keuze uit heel veel prachtige stranden! Kortom, een goede plek om de Algarve te bezoeken. Wij komen graag een keer terug!

La maison est très agréable, nous avons passé un agréable séjour, la journée la maison reste fraîche, pas besoin de climatisation. Nous a 30min des plages, il faut absolument avoir une voiture pour se déplacer. Merci à vous ainsi qu'à Sarah et son mari pour leur accueil.

Villa tres agréable dans un coin au calme à 10 mn. De silves et 1/2des grandes villes d'algarve Le coin repas est suffisant et agréable avec vue sur la piscine pour un plongeon entre deux plats quand il fait chaud . Le logement est spacieux, nous y avons séjourné une semaine à 4 et des amis nous ont rejoint quelques jours en tout 8 personnes sans aucun problème. Les chambres sont équipées chacune d'une douche et d'un Wc. De ce fait personne ne se marche sur les pieds. En résumé nous vous recommandons ce logement si vous souhaitez passer des vacances au calme tout en profitant des joies de la mer à 1/2 h grand maximum ( benagil a 20mn)

The pool area is beautiful and seamlessly works as part if the house. Lovely for families as you don't worry about the noise and you can see the whole area outdoor area. However I wouldn't recommend for preschoolers as part of the beauty and fun was the pool was not fenced off so children need to be aware. There is sun and shade at all points of the day. Kitchen basic, but perfectly functional, lovely bbq outside. Plenty of space inside, good WiFi and ability to stream to the tv for kids evening film. Villa is remote and beautiful, but no where was more than 30 mins away so an ideal base for exploring too. We would really recommend this place as we loved our holiday.

Einfach schön! Liebevolle Details in Gestaltung, mediterraner Charm und Erholung haben wir in diesem Bauernhaus gefunden. Wir erinnern uns gern an den erfrischenden Pool, den Blick zum Zitronenbaum. Den Wind rauschen und die summenden Bienen hören. Ruhe. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und empfehlen das Haus sehr gern weiter. Thomas hat alles gut organisiert und beschrieben. Mietwagen erforderlich! Handgepäck ausreichend.
